Terms of Service

These terms apply to plastering, rendering, and related services provided by J&R Plastering Services (“we”, “us”) to customers in Norwich, Great Yarmouth, and the wider Norfolk area.

1. Quotations

Quotes are free and provided without obligation. Unless stated otherwise, a quotation is valid for 30 days from the date given. Final pricing may be adjusted if the scope of work changes after inspection.

2. Bookings & Scheduling

Work is scheduled by mutual agreement. While we always aim to arrive on time, unforeseen circumstances (weather for external rendering, prior job overruns, etc.) may occasionally require rescheduling.

3. Access & Preparation

Customers are asked to clear rooms of furniture and fragile items where possible. We take care to protect floors and furnishings, but we cannot accept liability for items left in the working area.

4. Drying & Finishing

Plaster dries naturally and times vary with temperature and ventilation. Fresh plaster should be allowed to dry fully (typically 3–7 days) before painting.

5. Payment

Payment terms are agreed before work begins. Unless otherwise stated in writing, payment is due on completion of the work.

6. Guarantees

We take pride in our workmanship. Any defects in work we have carried out will be rectified if reported within a reasonable period. This does not cover damage from damp, structural movement, impact, or third-party work.
